jbClan: Looking For Feeback

How's it going folks!

I'd like some feedback regarding jbClan (jbApp/jbRoster). I'm working on getting a stable release of jbClan v3.03 out the door, but I've been thinking of discontinuing development of jbClan after this release. Would you please be kind enough to respond and answer a few questions?

On "Using Drupal"

The progress with "jbWebWare.com v2.0" is coming along nicely, if a little slower than we had anticipated. Due to the longer transition time, we will be re-opening the Forums and Bug Tracker.

I've started This Thread to let you know what we already have planned for "jbWebWare.com v2.0". Please stop by and let us know what you'd like to see added.

What's Going On In The jbWorld

All's Quiet On The Eastern Front, What's Up With That?

I'm sure you've noticed some changes around here lately, the two main changes being the disappearance of the forums, and a lack of blog posts.

Don't worry, all is not lost, and I've still been working hard in the depths of the jbWorld. In fact, so much so that it's taken my attention away from my open source dev and support.

Resetting e107 User Passwords

A fellow e107 user got locked out of their site and asked me what was the best way to recover a password in e107. I thought I'd share my response:

There are two ways you can reset your password.

Using your e107 site to reset the password:
Go to the "http://www.yoursite.com/fpw.php" page and follow the instructions.

Manually changing your password in the database. Here are the instructions to do so using "phpMyAdmin":

FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS BACKUP YOUR DATABASE!!!

jbClan v3.03.01 Beta Released

I've been quite busy lately. Between my wife being ill and job interviews, I haven't had much time to do anything but take care of my wife and two beautiful little girls.

I've been poking at the code a bit here and there, and am finally ready to release jbClan v3.03.

I'm very excited about this release, as it introduces two new great features:
- The ability send applications to up to four forums
- The ability to assign User Classes to Member and Leader status so that members are assigned to those User Classes when switched between statuses automatically

e107 Plugin Admin Menus

Between the e107 Wiki and the YourFirstPlugin starter plugin, there is enough information out there to get started making your own plugins.

I thought that I would focus on individual topics, rather than starting from the beginning.

That being said, on to e107 Plugin Admin Menus.

What's New In The jbWorld

Har Har Har, I added jb to jbWorld

I've been going on a coding spree this past 48 hours, have gotten too little sleep and have been typing jbSomething way too much lately lol.

ok, time to get a bit serious here.

Development

What I'm trying to do is code in overdrive to add a certain feature set to jbApp and jbRoster (see the "Road Map" forums) before moving on to three important projects I have in the mix:

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!! jbClan v3.02 Released!!!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!

Here's the next release of jbClan!

I feel this is an important release, as there are three important changes in this release:

1: Added security against SQL Injections -
I have switched from using my own custom validation code to using e107's built in validation method

2: Added English Language Files -
This will allow users to create Language Files for their own language. (If you do create a language file, please consider contacting me and donating your custom Language File to jbClan so I can include it in the standard release)
